Super Nintendo (SNES) Console
The Super Nintendo Entertainment System or SNES (also known as Super NES or Super Nintendo) is a 16 bit home video game console made by Nintendo. It was launched in 1990 in Japan and South Korea, in 1992 in North America, 1992, and in Australasia (Oceania), in 1993 in South America. In Japan, it is called Super Famicom. It is called the Super Comboy in South Korea and was distributed by Hyundai Electricals. The system was released by Playtronic in Brazil on August 30, 1993. Although the various versions are identical, there are multiple regions that block the cartridges from being compatible.
