Peter Parker’s apartment acts as your main hub where you pick the next level, a boss fight, or one of the small challenge stages that focus on speed or stealth.

Even without a free roam city, the game still keeps a nice sense of momentum. Combat has a fast and simple flow. You jump between enemies, land a couple of hits, dodge when the spider sense activates, and try to stay in motion. It feels light and energetic rather than heavy or complicated.

The Web Rush move gives the gameplay a bit of personality. When you use it, the action slows just enough for you to pick your next spot. Sometimes it helps you sneak behind an enemy, sometimes it gets you out of a bad situation, and sometimes it’s just a fun way to zip around the stage instead of running in a straight line.

Each mission you finish gives you some XP, and you can put that into improving Spider Man’s skills. Maybe he hits harder, maybe he moves a little faster, or maybe his web abilities become more useful. The upgrade system is simple, but it adds a small sense of progress as you go.

Visually, the Wii version is not trying to compete with the PS3 or Xbox 360 versions, but it still works in its own way. The game keeps things clear and straightforward, and it’s a good fit for players who prefer a mission based experience without too much extra complexity.
