Tekken 6

Tekken 6 picks up the Mishima feud at full volume. The Mishima Zaibatsu goes to war with G Corporation, and another King of Iron Fist Tournament kicks off. Newcomers Lars Alexandersson and Alisa Bosconovitch stand beside series regulars like Jin, Kazuya, Nina, and Bryan. Fights feel brisk and heavy. Rage kicks in at low health and pushes damage up, so late rounds can flip fast. Bound lets juggles run longer without turning into infinites. Arenas break apart, with walls cracking and floors giving way, so spacing and route choice matter as much as execution. Arcade and Story cover the basics, while Ghost Battle and Practice are there for lab time.

Playing with an emulator

PPSSPP runs the Tekken 6 ROM on Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. Raise internal resolution for a sharper image, add texture filtering, and use save states to retry a route or combo on the spot. Controllers pair over Bluetooth or USB, and every button can be mapped to taste. If performance dips, try a different renderer like Vulkan or Direct3D, toggle buffered rendering, or set a small frameskip until it holds steady.
